Pads4Cancer is a partnership between Journey4ACure and A4CWSN to enhance the quality of life for children battling cancer by providing the gift of an iPad (or iPod Touch). Please read our Info page for more details on the program.
iPads4Cancer is a partnership between 2 organizations who are dedicated to changing the lives of children. Journey4ACure and A4CWSN joined forces to enhance the quality of life for children battling cancer by providing the gift of an iPad (or iPod Touch).
Children who are battling cancer spend most, if not all, of their time in the hospital being treated. They are isolated from friends and family... and are often forced to miss a significant amount of school. The goal of the iPads4Cancer program is to offer a tool that will allow children to communicate with friends and family outside of the hospital, to utilize built-in apps to stimulate their learning and keep them on grade level, and, most importantly, have FUN!
Each iPad will be delivered equipped with a variety of age and/or grade appropriate apps that are selected based on each child's individual needs, likes and personality.
